Express Implementation

Our Express Implementation is ideal for customers wanting to deploy standard innovation processes with minimal customization. Each module can be deployed in as little as four weeks, and gives you an excellent platform to start improving your innovation performance. Each module can be easily enhanced at a later date to support additional process improvements you have identified.

 

Using our Express Implementation, each module is implemented using a three-stage process:

Stage 1: Requirements & Design

We start with a workshop with your core team to confirm objectives, scope and requirements for the module. Our consulting team configures the system and prepares it for your review. We also advise you on suggested change management and training approach for your stakeholders and user community.

Stage 2: Validation

We next provide online access for your core team and work with you to confirm the system meets requirements. Our consultants then complete any necessary configuration fine-tuning.

Stage 3: Launch

Once the finalized system is ready, we conduct training sessions with your users, who then start using the launched system immediately. We offer weekly user clinics for your users to ask questions and receive refresher training until they are comfortable.

Full Implementation

Our Full Implementation approach is best for customers who have complex requirements, or have a large-scale deployment that requires significant change management.

We recommend deploying modules in sequential releases, as part of an overall change program. Each release typically takes between 6 and 12 weeks to deploy, depending on scope and complexity. The result is an organization-wide, consistent innovation process enabling your business units, functions and divisions to increase their innovation performance.

 

Using our Full Implementation, each module is implemented using a four-stage process:

Stage 1: Program release planning, scoping & requirements

We run workshops with your team to define the overall change program and the scope and requirements for each release. We also review your needs for data conversion from legacy systems, custom functionality and system interfaces.

Stage 2: Module design & configuration

Our consulting team then completes the design and configuration of the system. We use agile development techniques, so this stage may include iterations to review design choices with your team. We also prepare data conversion ready for system go-live, and install the system either in your environment or our ‘cloud’.

Stage 3: Validation

Once the module is ready we will run a conference room pilot with your core team to validate the system and identify changes. We also confirm the training plans and prepare training materials.

Stage 4: Launch

Once validation is complete, we perform the data conversion from legacy systems, deliver training classes and launch the system. We offer weekly user clinics for your users to ask questions and receive refresher training until they are comfortable.
